Hello everyone, my name is Akira Schmid. I’ve been playing ice hockey actively since 2008. I started out with the SCL Young Tigers, where I progressed through all the junior levels. Before that, I tried karate and soccer, but I ultimately fell in love with ice hockey, especially the position of goalie.
I grew up with my family in Langnau, in the heart of beautiful Emmental.
Currently, I play for Las Vegas (USA), and I’m working hard to establish myself in North American hockey and advance my career.
